The 28-year-old actress looked stunning, donning a plunging black leather blazer paired with a sleek mini skirt. Her dark hair was styled in a ponytail with bangs, and while her ensemble was flawless, all eyes were on the dazzling new accessory she was sporting — a 5.02-carat East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring by Jessica McCormack. This ring, which was first spotted at the 2025 Golden Globes on January 5, was designed by the London-based jewelry brand and quickly became the focal point of the evening.

TMZ had initially reported that Zendaya and 28-year-old Holland were set to marry, revealing that the actor had popped the question at one of Zendaya’s family homes during the holiday season. According to a separate source speaking to PEOPLE, while many close to the couple knew an engagement was imminent, the timing was a surprise. The source shared that Holland had been planning the proposal for some time, adding, “He’s always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special.”
“Tom’s always had this sweet way of letting the world know that Zendaya is his. Now, it’s official — she really is!” the insider continued.
Although their engagement has made headlines, a family source mentioned that the couple is in no rush to walk down the aisle. “They will just enjoy things for now and won’t rush a wedding. They are both busy with work projects,” the source explained.
Holland had teased his engagement plans in December, hinting at a secret during a December 18 appearance on the U.K. podcast Dish. He revealed that he was spending Christmas with Zendaya’s family, but playfully kept the details a mystery.
When asked about working alongside his now-fiancée, Holland expressed how much he appreciates Zendaya’s presence. “Studios love it — one hotel room!” he joked, referencing their shared schedules. “Oh God, yeah. It’s a saving grace. Best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Zendaya and Holland officially confirmed their relationship in 2021, several years after beginning their on-screen partnership in the Spider-Man films. Holland recently shared during an October 22 appearance on The Tonight Show that production for the next Spider-Man sequel will begin in the summer of 2025, with the film slated for a July 2026 release. Both stars have also been cast in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, which will feature an all-star ensemble cast including Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, and Lupita Nyong’o.
